Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad. Ensure "Touchpad" is toggled "On".

Try reinstalling the Chipset and DES driver.

I have the same problem, I've tried several solutions, including the one in the post, but none of them work. My laptop has the latest version of the BIOS 1.25, which in the description says it fixes touchpad problems, but it still has the same problem of not recognizing it and not working, how can I solve the problem?

When i am go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad. Ensure "Touchpad" is toggled "On", the touchpad not appear to me.

If all other troubleshooting methods have failed to resolve issues on your device, a factory reset to restore it to its original state may be necessary. This process erases all data, so it's a last resort when other solutions have been exhausted. Before performing a factory reset, it's crucial to back up any important data as it will be lost during the process.

I have already done a factory reset of Windows and reinstalled everything. I believe the problem is the option to change from I2C to PS/2 in relation to the touchpad, but this option does not appear in the main/advanced section even when displaying the hidden options with ctrl + s, I would like to know how to access this setting in the new BIOS 1.25 interface?

Hi. Resetting the current version (1.25) BIOS to default (F9) helped me.
