If your Helios Neo laptop isn’t detecting the main hard drive during Windows reinstallation, but the USB boot drive works, follow these steps:
Load Drivers During Setup. Download Intel RST/VMD drivers on another PC. Acer Drivers Download
Extract the .zip file to a second USB drive (FAT32 formatted). In Windows Setup, when no drives appear:
Click "Load driver". Browse to the extracted driver folder (\f6vmdflpy-x64 or similar).
    Select and install the driver.
The SSD should now appear now.

Alternately, Check Disk in Command Prompt (If Still Missing)
In Windows Setup, press Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt.
    Run:
    Copy
    diskpart
    list disk
If the SSD appears here but not in setup, it may need initialization:
    Copy
select disk 0 (replace with your SSD number)
    clean (WARNING: deletes all data!)
    convert gpt (for UEFI installs)
    exit
Close CMD and refresh drives in setup.

    Hope the best!

Windows 10 is stable and will remain so even after support ends on October 14, 2025. It's a mature operating system that's been refined over the years. You can continue using Windows 10 after support ends, but it won’t receive security updates. To stay protected, use a strong antivirus like Defender, keep your software and browser up to date, and avoid visiting risky websites or downloading unknown files.

it needs the INF file you have to unzip the drivers to a folder on the flash drive

That is impossible that you can't install the IRST driver for your PHN16-7x laptop, as you need to construct a proper bootable USB installation drive, so do the following:

    1. Follow the Rufus 4.6 guide to construct a proper bootable installation Win-11 USB drive.
    2. I don't know which exact PHN16-7x model you have, but after you have finished the Rufus bootable USB you need to go to the Acer Drivers and Manuals page and download the appropriate IRST driver for your PHN16-7x laptop.
    3. After you have download the the appropriate IRST driver you need to put this driver onto the Rufus bootable installation USB and boot the laptop to start the Win-11 24H2 version installation, when you get to the section of Where do you want to install Windows? > load driver > you load the IRST driver and install this driver for your M.2 SSD boot drive to be recognized and then you can finish the installation and update all the updates to get to the last OS build: 26100.3775, its a very easy and simple task to do and install Win-11.

Note: When you get to this section of the Win-11 installation, use the Load driver to load the IRST drive as then your M.2 boot SSD drive will be recognized and you can continue the installation. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
