Hi,

today my Acer suddenly stopped to boot. I tried to recover it, but after pressing Alt+10 the recovery console didn't start and "only no bootable device" sign was shown on the screen.

I tried to install new copy windows 7 from USB Stick, but the installer hanged right after being loaded.

How to solve this problem? Is my ssd  hdd kaputt and should be serviced or is there any chance to recover it with any software?

best regards bart

    Hi,

To know whether the hard drive is working, we have check the hard drive is listed in BIOS.

Restart the computer and keep on tapping F2 immediately on start up to enter BIOS.
You can locate the hard drive under Information Tab HDD Model name.

If the hard drive is lsited in BIOS try a BIOS reset. There will not be any data loss, if we reset the BIOS.

Press F9 in BIOS to load default values and press enter key.

Then press F10 to Save and Exit.

    The computer will restart.

    Thanks

    Rakesh
