Hi, dose anyone know the display specifications of the Acer Spin 5 13 45N laptop? the top part of the screen went black while I was using it. Has this happened to anyone else? Is the screen replaceable?

What is the full model number of your Acer Spin laptop? SPXXX-XXX

It could be due to a hardware issue, such as a faulty graphics card or a loose connection between the screen and the motherboard. It could also be caused by a software problem, such as a corrupt operating system or incompatible drivers.

To reset your Acer laptop using the battery reset pinhole, first ensure the laptop is turned off and unplugged from the AC adapter. Locate the battery reset pinhole on the bottom of your laptop, usually marked with a battery icon. Using a small paperclip or a similar object, press and hold the reset button inside the pinhole for about 5 seconds. After releasing the button, wait for approximately 5 minutes before plugging in the AC adapter and powering on your laptop.

Try to go to BIOS and if you still have the same issue than its a screen issue. you might need to replace it.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

My guess is the actual model is one of the SP513-54N series. 45N doesn't make sense… The screens are replaceable, but might not be cost effective unless they are out on the secondary market. If yours is the SP513-54N here is the display:

Note that the LCD, the touch model, camera and the bezel are all one part…
