Unable to use throttle stop for manual undervolting in Swift sfx14-71g, its overheating

Is there a way to disable the voltage control lock. My laptop has issues with overheating, and I am hoping to improve performance and reduce throttling by applying an undervolt.

Model: sfx14-71g

Intel has stopped all undervolting of their cpu's like the i7-13700H or the i5-13500H that your SFX14-71G has (btw I'm using the SFX14-51G so I know that they can overheat) but remember that these laptops are not a full on gaming laptop, yes they can play games but when you do you are maxing them out and they will overheat so make sure that you are using a tablet cooler also. That is why "Throttlestop" doesn't work for undervolting and you will never ever be able to undervolt this laptops cpu. Good luck and hope this has helped you out.

Hi, in Advanced Power Plan settings, reduce the maximum processor state for battery and plugged in from 100% to 95%

Also set the Power mode in Power & Battery to Best power efficiency.

    you can consider changing the

"Processor performance boost mode" from "aggressive" to "power efficient",

"Maximum Processor Frequency" to your desired value.

and reduce the "maximum processor state"

All of this settings are available under Control Panel- Power Option- Advanced Power Plan setting- processor power management. But in most cases the former two are hidden and you need to enable it from Registry Editor first(search in google for info). Also in Setting - Power Mode - change it to either "Balanced" or "Best power efficiency" and consider buying a cooling pad.
