Its not recommended to use third party AC adapter as the Voltage and the Amps may differ. It’s unusual that AC adapter could slow down the system but if AC adapter is not able to take the load of the system the system may slow down. Also, using third party adapter could malfunction the system board on the computer. You can use 45W or 65w charger with your laptop.

Also, check the power settings, To set the "Maximum processor state" to 100% for both "On battery" and "Plugged in" in Windows 11, navigate to Power Options, change plan settings, then change advanced power settings, find "Processor power management" and adjust the values accordingly.

Here's a few recommended part number of the charger, you may google it check the availability in your region.

Off-brand chargers can sometimes cause performance spikes. Make sure to later buy an official one from Acer

Hi, The Acer Aspire 5 A514-54, launched in October 2020, does not support charging via USB-C. Do not try to use a USB-C charger but only us the round barrel plug power adapter. Acer Aspire 5 A514-54 - Genuine OEM Laptop Charger | AC Adapter

Charging your device with a faulty power adapter may also cause your computer to run sluggishly while charging. To eliminate this factor, make sure you are using the original adapter of your laptop. If this does not apply, use another power adapter that is compatible with your laptop.
