do you need an audio cable for the K272HLH monitor. We weren't given one when we bought the monitor

    if your monitor actually has speakers built in, you might not need an external audio cable. If your monitor and computer both have HDMI ports, you can use an HDMI cable to transmit both video and audio signals, eliminating the need for a separate audio cable.

    If your monitor doesn't have speakers, look for an audio output port (often a 3.5mm jack) on the back or side of the monitor. If you find an audio output port, you can use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect your external speakers or headphones to the monitor's audio output port.

    K272HLH isn't the full model number. There should be more letters after that. Look at the sticker on the back that shows your serial number and it should also show the full model number. Once we have that we can tell you if it has speakers or not.
