SNID/Serial number not recognized

i am trying to get a recovery disc, but the website doesnt recognize my snid number. i emailed the sales dept. but havent heard from them. couldn't find a phone number to call.

    One of Acer's deep, dark secrets is that there are no letter O's in their SNID or serial numbers. Try again, but this time, use zeroes when it looks like an O.

    I don't know where you live, but I'm in Canada and I dial either 1-800-816-2237, or 1-866-706-2237. For the second number you have to hit two for English. They'll be able to help you out.

    AFAICA SNIDs are 11 digits, all numbers, and the fourth digit is a zero.

    Thanks using serial number. But don't think they have recovery discs for computers oldervthan 4

    They do not, Acer keeps recovery media for 3 years from the manufacture date, thank you Microsoft. So for anything longer than that you can either cross your fingers and hope they'll have a copy left in stock or you can contact Microsoft.
