For the Acer Nitro XF240Y monitor, you'll need speakers that connect via a 3.5mm audio jack (or potentially Bluetooth if the monitor supports it) to the monitor's audio output.
Here's a breakdown of compatible speaker options:-

    3.5mm Audio Jack Connection:
Desktop Speakers: Many 2.0 or 2.1 channel desktop speakers with a 3.5mm input are compatible.
Soundbars: Some soundbars designed for computers also use a 3.5mm connection.
Headphones: You can also use headphones with a 3.5mm jack for a more private listening experience.
    Bluetooth Connection (if supported):
Bluetooth Speakers: If your monitor has Bluetooth capabilities, you can connect compatible Bluetooth speakers.
    Examples of Compatible Speakers:
Creative Pebble 2.0: A popular option for desktop PCs and laptops.
Redragon GS520 Anvil RGB: Another option for desktop speakers with RGB lighting.
Zebronics Zeb-Pluto 2.0: A 2.0 multimedia speaker with AUX connectivity.
Cyber Acoustics Computer Speaker Bar: A speaker bar that can clamp to the monitor.
Honeywell Moxie V500: A portable USB wired soundbar.
To determine if your specific Acer Nitro XF240Y model has built-in speakers or a 3.5mm audio output, check the monitor's specifications or manual.

Yes, there are a bunch of different XF240Y versions, some with speakers and some without. There should be more letters and numbers after the "Y" and that would help us tell what you actually have. Does it have an audio-out port?

Thankyou for your replies and recommendations. This is the user manual for the one he has, no further letters or numbers after the Y
