Hey guys,

I noticed a thread on here from 208 regarding a stack of people who had playback issues for different nitro models and I was having the same issues but have still not found a fix. I have reinstalled the nvidia and intel drivers, have reinstalled windows and have deleted antivirus software and still, most of my videos, specifically my uni lecture videos will play for about 2 minutes before stopping and then progressively pause with a smaller and smaller gap until they don't work at all.

I had a massive BSOD issue before which was temporarily fixed for about 2 weeks. Although my computer is now staying on and not resetting itself, I can't play any games or watch any videos without it crashing. PLS HELP

Hi, an unstable system can be caused by outdated BIOS, check if your BIOS version is 1.10 from 2024/04/29 and download drivers only from Acer Support. Don't download the Intel and Nvidia GPU drivers but uninstall these in Safe Mode with DDU and just reboot, Windows11 will reinstall the latest drivers. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000091878/graphics.html

So I've checked the bios. its 1.10
And I've also used ddu to remove the drivers in safe mode but I've booted it back up and they're not reinstalled. How so I prompt windows to reinstall the drivers?

Try going to the Acer support, put the model number in, and download the drivers.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Freezing, booting and power issues of a laptop from either operating system or hardware issue problems could come from many sources with in a laptop. The basic and first thing is to try and do a reset of your Nitro laptop completely (that is if you are computer savvy and know how to disassemble a laptop?) if you don't and your laptop is under warranty, then take it to your Acer Support. as you need to firstly do a hard reset. As all those symptoms that you have written and described above, are because your Nitro laptop windows or its graphics and other drivers and even a bios update is needed or it could be from other issues or a hardware fault but mostly corrupted drivers etc. that needs to be analyzed by Acer and/or an experienced technician.
