Need help with Veriton 5600GT motherboard Manual(aka 865M08-G-2KS), can't boot or Access BIOS
Trying to resuscitate this dinosaur which won't boot and I can't access BIOS. Hence no download manual from Acer as no serial# or SNID.
I have managed to download a drivers file (.exe) but the mobo manual will be valuable in setting it up.
Anyone able to assist?

follow this link to download a PDF manual for the Veriton 5600GT desktop and also there are 10 drivers that are available at HelpDrivers for the Veriton 5600GT desktop. Acer have stopped all support for this model so this is all that is available. try all those links as it will help you sort this desktop out, to get into the bios press Delete key as that is the usual desktop key to get into the bios as soon as the desktop starts to boot.

Geez, my google-fu didn't find those. Thanks!
I know the DEL for BIOS access, but this doesn't post at the moment and the HDD was trashed so I'm starting at the very bottom.

That's actually a different mobo layout to the one I have. Close but …
The one I have looks like this:
http://www.barebonekit.net/acer-veriton-5600gt-mb-v0609-001-board_i_mbacembv0609001.aspx
Like where JFP1 is on the top right in that manual pic, there are THREE pin header blocks. Some bits have silk legend. Good thing I took photos before disassembling the machine to repair the mobo.
The thing that manual lacks - compared to those I am used to e.g. Gigabyte - is all the connector/jumper info tabulated. But hey, it's better than nothing and thanks for your help.

That model is too old for Acer to still have any support info. They typically remove all that once the design OS has been out of support for some time, and needless to say XP has been out of support for a while. :)
