Hi there. I have been, for the last 2 hours, scouring the internet to try and find out how to get out of no bootable device on my Acer aspire 5 laptop and nothing at all has worked and I'm just really stressed right now as I need everything for university.
I have tried: checking the system date and time. Setting a supervisory password and changing settings. Restoring the secure boot to factory default. Changing the boot mode from uefi to legacy which didn't work because my laptop doesn't have a legacy option. Turning off secure boot and turning it on. Holding the battery reset button on the bottom down for more than 30 seconds. Holding the power button down for more than 30 seconds. All to no avail. I can't find a single thing to do that I haven't tried. The only thing I'm thinking is to take it back to Currys pc world and talking to them about it but my family is pretty busy.
By the way I have only had this laptop since July or August and it was bought from Currys new. It is now only march. It should still be in warranty so hopefully they can fix it if I have time to go but is there anything else I can try. There's no troubleshooting option and no boot in safe mode.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
