Anyone know where I can find a HDR color profile for the KG271UN3 monitor?

When I load the one that comes from the downloads it says it is an SDR color profile.

I would have sent the message to ACER but when you click on the Contact Acer button, it spits out garbage into the screen on all my browsers. Been like that for days so makes me concerned about the level of support I might get on this.

You can try using the Windows HDR Calibration app from the Microsoft Store.

    Calibrate your HDR display

The Acer support page is working fine for me Try here Acer Support

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

Thank you. I had actually tried that, but it didn't seem to work well with this monitor and gave me a horrible HDR profile. I tried it several times. I'm guessing there is something not right with this monitor and that tool. For example, at the end if let's you change the color saturation and has the plane flying but you notice no change when adjusting the slider.

Im wondering the same. No HDR profile in the driver package and trying to use the windows calibration seems to be horrible. It sets my nits at all kinds of different numbers. And i get tons of greens & reds showing in games & shows wheres theres dark patterns and places

Select the Start button, then type settings. Select Settings   > System > Display . Select HDR. Ensure your built-in display is selected under Select a display to view or change its settings, then select Display calibration for HDR video > Calibrate.

On the Calibrate your display screen, drag the slider at the bottom to the left or right.
To add more details to the snow on the mountain, drag the slider to the right.
To add more details to the buildings, drag the slider to the left.
When calibrating your display, the goal is to get a good balance between details in darker parts of a scene (in this case, the windows in the buildings on the left) and brighter parts of it (here, the snow at the top of the mountain).

When you’re happy with the results, select Exit full screen in the bottom-right corner.
Watch a streaming HDR video in a supported video app and look at the video quality.
If you’re not happy with how the video looks, go back to step 4 and calibrate your display again.
To go back to the original calibration settings, select Restore default under Display calibration for HDR video.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊
