Hi, sometimes a simple battery reset will do the trick, there is a small pinhole in the back of your laptop (with a battery sign), stick a pin in that hole till you feel it click (micro switch), keep pressing the pin for a few seconds. Connect the power adapter and try to boot. To reset BIOS: Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black under the battery next to the SSD) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- terminals inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.

Your SWIFT SF514-55TA laptop has a PCIe Gen3, 8 Gb/s, NVMe M.2 SSD drive and that is the problem if you get the "no bootable device" and the drive is not recognized in bios.

Open the laptop up and take the M.2 SSD drive out, clean the mobo slot pins and inspect them if they are not damaged, then inspect the M.2 drive pins and clean them with Isopoll alcohol and reinsert the drive into its slot, see if that fixes the issue, if not then your boot M.2 SSD is faulty and you need to buy a new drive. Good luck.

We never suggest a BIOS update when the system isn't already stable. Too much chance of getting a brick out of the process. If the BIOS doesn't see the SSD and another machine does then it's likely either not fully seated in the slot or there's a hardware issue with the motherboard where the SSD plugs in. You only have the one SSD connector, so verify the drive is fully inserted into the slot and the screw holds it in place solidly.
