In Acer B3-A40 and youtube app is not working, says need an update & doesn't work.
i have an acer B3-A40 and youtube app is not working and says it need an update when it des not i have to uninstall the app and reinstall but it only lasts a day any ideas pls

Youtube app seemed to have stopped providing services for older versions of the app. Newer version is not supported on Android 7, hence you will need to install alternative youtube app like newpipe or other similar apps.

The older OS versions aren't compatible with the newer streaming tech that YouTube is using. I know of no workaround…

Android 7, which is what comes with the B3-A40 model, is too old for the latest YouTube. Do the videos play at all through the browser, instead of using the app?
