Hi, there may be some conflicting drivers or registry in Windows11, uninstall the 12C HID device in Human Interface Devices Device Manager and just reboot, do not install any Touchpad drivers as this is managed by the Microsoft Precision firmware.

Try this and it should fix.

Google Chrome’s hardware media key handling feature is enabled by default you can disable it, and there is a simple, built-in way to disable the feature if this behavior isn’t one you want.
    Open a new Chrome tab
    Visit chrome://flags/#hardware-media-key-handling
Select ‘Disabled’ from the menu on the right of the page
Relaunch Chrome as prompted. That’s it!
You will now find that Chrome no longer responds to your keyboard’s media keys on ANY website that usually supports them. If you decide you want the ability back you can repeat the steps above but this time select the “Enabled” option instead of “Disabled“.

Overall, however, these keys will "just work" automatically. If you're not watching or listening to anything in your browser, your browser should get out of the way and let other applications use them.

I hope this helps! If this was useful, please hit 'Yes' or 'Like'! Thanks! 😊

First of all, which SFG14 model do you have? Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like SFG14-xxx-xxxx. "2024 model" doesn't give us enough info to pin it down. Some of those models shipped with one of two different types of track pads. If that's the case with yours we will need to know which you have, you should be able to see that in Device Manager. Synaptics, Lantek, PixArt, etc…

OK, so Intel Ultra gen 1. Is your touchpad blue or silver? They used both the Synaptics and PixArt touchpads on those, though the Synaptics might only be in the blue ones. If you have the PixArt there was a fairly significant driver update to it in September.
