How to power on with External Keyboard when laptop is Off or in sleep mode on Acer Aspire V3-575g
Hello,
I have a Acer Aspire V3-575g
I do not find on the bios the "Power on Keyboard" or similar option.
I need to Power on my computer with an external keyboard.
Is it possible while the laptop is completely turned of or even in sospension mode?

Hi, you can't operate a laptop with the lid closed like a desktop, the system will overheat and bust the GPU and CPU. Also, you would need a Wake on Power option or something like that in BIOS which AFAIK does not exist and disable the magnetic Hall Effect sensor by disconnecting the cable which will interfere with Windows Power Management (Modern Standby). If the 2016 laptop keyboard power button is not working anymore, I recommend replacing the keyboard, an inexpensive and easy repair job.

You're giving me terrible news, but I've been using the laptop with the lid closed since 2018 and it still works properly. Never freezes, never heats, works for at least 8/10 hours every day since I bought it.
Everything works fine with the buttons and keyobard, I just need to turn on the laptop with a USB keyboard.
