Hi, flashing BIOS is not recommended as that will probably brick this 2018 laptop. If you cannot boot to BIOS it may be corrupted, or you have a bad RAM module, if you cannot boot to Windows because HDD01 is not detected or no Windows bootloader is present and you need to reinstall Windows with an ISO image on a bootable USB flash drive, if there is no USB boot drive detected in BIOS make an installation disk with RUFUS on another PC and enable the F12 key in BIOS, press F10 to save changes and exit BIOS.

Acer have a flaw that it can only update bios or uefi with windows on...
Next time go with dell lenovo hp msi asus
This brands have better bios and have fwupd support and usb bios update also.
They use dual bios technologies to ensure safety and also it can update itself with lvfs so bios can be update even in a live boot.

Puraw,
Dunno if I am sufficiently computer literate but I have Rufus and will follow your instructions this weekend and report back to you.
Really appreciate your input.

I have faced a huge issue installing linux on my brand new system though it runs smoother compare to windows but fingerprint that i could not run and acer not have any driver for that. Libfprint already supported by many devices i find most are from lenovo dell and some hp no acer. Actually lenovo contribute to opensource but acer does not have any idea what open-source is that is why they dont even have lvfs for updating the bios.
But unfortunately They are still in the 19th century era of bios upgrade methods.
