hello, so i have this problem since yesterday, my laptop is 3 years old. everytime i boot up with my laptop with my charger unplugged, after 2-3 minutes, my laptop shuts down. i checked on Event Viewer, it says that a fatal hardware error has occurred, but i don't know which one. it's not overheating also, my temp has been 40-45°C while idling. the weird thing is, i can boot up normally while my charger is plugged in. it works normally and i can play games in it.

i'm suspecting it's the battery, but when i checked powercfg/batteryreport, there's nothing out of the ordinary. will clean installing windows help this problem?

Hi, update or reset BIOS with F9 and press F10 in BIOS (save changes), uninstall these 2 battery drivers (see picture below) and reboot, run a battery report again, paste this in the command prompt: powercfg /batteryreport and open the report with your Edge browser, right click and select "Print to Microsoft PDF", attach the report to your reply, type @Puraw or use "Quote" when you reply so I will get an alert.

Your laptop shutting down when unplugged indicates a potential battery issue, despite normal operation when plugged in. This issue might not be detected by software diagnostics. Clean installing Windows likely won't resolve it, as it's probably hardware-related. Trying battery calibration, checking health diagnostics, updating the BIOS, and reseating the battery could help
