Hello, my laptop doesn't turn on, this is why.:

When i press the power key, the orange charging light pops up as long as i keep the power button pressed.if i spam the power key long enough, both power and charging light pop up for about 1-2 seconds.if i press long enough, both power and charging light pop up for about 3-6 secs.

if i spam the power key long enough, both power and charging light pop up for about 1-2
seconds.

if i press long enough, both power and charging light pop up for about 3-6 secs.

(despite the screen not being there it has always worked correctly, i had removed the heatsink after it "broke".)

I presume that your Aspire A15-51 is out of warranty as opening the laptop like that will void your warranty. What I suggest is that you first check the battery if it has charge and its working, as that could be a cause of a power on issue like you are having.

If its not, then do a Hard Reset by taking the main battery out and then disconnect the rtc/bios battery and short its +&- pins at the mainboards plug with a metal screwdriver, leave the laptop like that for 15 min and then reconnect everything and try to reboot the laptop and see it it boots. as this frees the EC chip and Chipset chip if they are frozen and your laptop should boot.

If the laptop doesn't boot after the hard reset, then your laptop has a main power rail fault that only a technofinance can pinpoint and fix. Good luck.

Aspire A15-51 RTC/BIOS Battery plug and battery, short its +&- pins.

Hello, sadly, the CMOS fix didn't work. It may be a power rail fault, but i will try and fix it myself with other solutions as i really need this laptop. I have noticed that without the charging cable, nothing happens.
No lights, no nothing, but yet, the battery seems to work because if i press the power button while the charger is in, the charging light turns on, but if i try with the battery disconnected only the power light turns on after pressing the button some times.
