My Acer LCD monitor wouldn't light up so I was trying the various buttons on the back of it, and now the light on the bottom left of the screen that usually lights up blue when it has power is not lighting up. The outlet has power so that isn't the problem.

I had a similar issue with my Acer LCD monitor where it would not light up, and the power indicator remained off. After troubleshooting, I found that a power cycle or checking the power cables often helps. If that does not work, it could be a problem with the internal power supply or a deeper hardware issue. Has anyone fixed this with another method?

If possible try to use an alternative cable and check. If the problem persists try to use an alternative power cable and display cable and check. Try to bypass the surge protector and connect the monitor directly to power outlet. Try to connect monitor on a different power outlet or surge protector and check.
