When Switched on, it continuously makes a sound. The screen doesn't come up.

    There is no code that I can give U as there is nothing displaying on the screen. I have removed all the dust from the machine. But no joy.

    Have you reset the CMOS via the jumper and checked the battery.

    Also try the Acer reset

    Remove power and all cables from the desktop, and press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug power back in to the desktop and see if the computer will power on.

    If it is playing one continuous beep, the issue is a memory failure. Have you made any changes to the memory? If not the DT.BHWEK.00P SKU looks like it has two 8GB sticks in it. Try reseating the memory and if that doesn't work try installing only one stick. Try it in both slots, one at a time, and try the second stick in the same way. You are trying to pin down the issue to a specific slot or a specific module.
