hey guys good morning, i just want to ask. i am planning to upgrade my acer AN518-58-542F.

i have already purchase 16GB ddr5 4800 and 512gb ssd gen 4, but the problem is i am afraid to open my laptop due to warranty concern, is it possible for me to ask the service center to install the ram and ssd without paying any cost since it is still under acer warranty. your answer is very much appreciated. i am from UAE

Hi, there will be a small service fee to install the RAM module and SSD by Acer Services, but you can also do this yourself as the installation is straight forward, just make sure the laptop is completely shut down and not suspended or with Fast Startup (hybrid mode) and make sure you use the proper screwdriver set, avoid stripping the screws and always disconnect the battery before touching anything inside the laptop. This won't void the warranty.
