while gaming on my acer aspire A515-45-R4kx, the battery drains with charger plugged in.

I was playing forza Horzon 5 at very low settings 1080p, i started at 40% battery with charger plugged in and after 1 hour, the battery drained to 32% even while charging. I am using the company specified 45W AC adapter.
and also the normal charging is slow now.
checked battery health, it is at 80%

Hi, this is not a gaming rig especially if you have a low-end AMD Ryzen 3 5300U or AMD Ryzen 5 5500U CPU. Choose Balanced Power Plan and Best Power Efficiency mode in Power & Battery settings. Leave the power adapter plugged in and the battery charged to 100%. Check that you have BIOS 1.52 dated 2023/11/28 installed and update Windows11 to 23H2 build 22631.4751 (W11 22H2 is no longer supported).
