    Yes, if there any stickers on the backside on the lid or on and inside your laptop that was put there by Acer that means that only an Acer technician can open the laptop or change any components like 2.5" HDD or M.2 SSD or ram, if you remove these stickers your Acer warranty is voided, this is only done in certain countries, as where I live Acer does not do and/or put these stickers on their laptops.     That is locale dependent, some countries don't allow voiding the warranty by opening the laptop, some do. Check with Acer for your country to be sure.

    This is illigal as far as i know..

    You can't void warranty if someone added a ran themselves. Or replace the ssd...

    Can you confirm for india and USA.

    You have to contact Acer for your specific locale to see what is allowed and what is not for you. We don't have access to that level of detail without forcing a login for a different country… In the USA it doesn't void warranty, but they don't have a sticker like that on the machines.
