Monitor arm for the Z57 ultrawide monitor?

I bought a Z57 ultrawide monitor. I'm happy with it, but I'm looking for a monitor arm that someone has gotten to work. The plastic cover on the back pushes the screws out of alignment, so I'm looking for a recommendation for a monitor arm that someone has been able to make work.

I don't want to return it and spend $500 more on a monitor that I can mount on an arm, but I want to use a digitizer tablet on my desk and still use the monitor.

Any recommendations for a monitor arm that has worked without modifying either the mounting plate or the monitor itself? Thanks!

    Can you show us a picture of the back with the plastic cover removed to access the VESA mount holes? You might need standoffs to bring it out far enough, but they usually pack those in the box if needed.

    I found a diagram showing the holes for VESA mounts:

    So they are a 100x100mm set. I didn't find how tall the standoffs need to be to bring them out past the surface of the plastic, or whether they were M4 or M5. I expect M5 and standoffs in the 5-10mm range, but you should verify that before purchasing them, if you can't find the ones that likely were in the box somewhere. They usually include a set that are just the right length.

    Thanks! The box contained cables but no standoffs. I can certainly buy one. I'm unsure of the exact thread, but I can take it to a store. They have plastic plates, so you can try different plates to find one that fits.

    In the meantime, I bought a small folding table to put in front when I wanted to use my Wacom tablet.

    Can't say it's solved yet, but I'll keep you apprised.

    I'd drop by the hardware store and buy two screws, one an M4x10mm and the other an M5x10mm. When you get home see which one fits, then take the other back and get three more of the right ones. Next measure from the level of the screw hole to the level of the plastic, and get the appropriate four standoffs to meet or exceed that distance. You will put the standoffs in the screw holes on the monitor, then hold the VESA mounting plate on with the four screws you started with. All done!

    It's a great store. It has a plastic plank in the aisle for you to try your screws on. Actually, it's an amazingly helpful place, so I doubt I'd make it to the aisle without someone helping me. (Burger's Ace Hardware in Shaker Heights, Ohio.) But thanks!
