i recently purchased an aspire 3 laptop and it was working fine with the camera and monitor , now when either the monitor or camera is connected via usb, the sound is completely deactivated and no output devices are recognised, not even the internal speakers. No updates have knowingly been installed … any suggestions
Yes, restore the system to before this happened, you won't lose any data, will take about 30 minutes to complete, if System Protection is not enabled and you have no restore points saved enable this important feature in Windows11. Type Restore in Search and click on "Create a restore point" and on "System Restore" with a date. If no restore points available, you can "Reset this PC" with the option "Withoutot losing you files" but you will have to reinstall your 3rd-party programs again.
