It takes a long time to turn on Windows, how can I make it run quickly?

when I start my laptop, it takes 8.5-10 seconds to enter the BIOS, which is very long, because my friends have laptops from other manufacturers Lenovo, ASUS, etc., and their bios starts in 2-3 seconds, and how can I make it run quickly?

Hi, a "cold" boot takes at least 30 seconds, your friends probably wake from suspend modes. I have never seen laptops (any brand) boot in <10 seconds unless Fast Startup is enabled which is no longer recommended for Windows11 23H2 as Hybrid mode interferes with Modern Standby protocol.

I'm not saying that they have a full Windows startup. +-8-10 seconds, but they enter the bios in 2-3 seconds, the time it takes me to enter the bios is only 10 seconds, not to mention Windows, I looked in the task manager, there is an item "startup apps", it will indicate the time to enter the bios

I have a laptop with more powerful specs and an SSD drive, but startup takes much longer, and yesterday I updated the BIOS, but things got even worse, and now startup takes even longer, please tell me how to fix it.

Hi, don't try to fix the boot time, Windows monitors each boot/shut down event and when drivers/apps are slow it will be fixed for the next boot/shut down, may take a while but you will find that booting time will improve with time unless you start messing with the boot log. To illustrate this boot/shutdown tracing I attached 2 screen shots.
