Hello,

I got the Acer Predator PO3-655 with an Intel i7 14700f an rtx 4070 super. When I start playing almost any game the CPU temp goes up to 90-95C.

I wanted to know if it is possible to upgrade the cooler to the Noctua NH-U9S and if I have to use the backplate that Noctua provides. I am unsure if I need to take the Mainboard out or if it is possible without doing that.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me out!

    • Noctua NH-U9S: This CPU cooler is highly recommended due to its excellent compatibility and performance, as they are known for their excellent dry CPU coolers.
    • Be Quiet! BK033 Pure Rock 2 FX RGB: This cooler is also a good option. However, you need to ensure it fits in your Acer Predator PO3-655's CPU space without interfering with the RAM modules. If the cooler obstructs a RAM slot, you won't able to utilize the full capacity of the PO3-655's RAM slots
    • Download the Be Quiet! BK033 manual and measure the CPU space of your PO3-655 desktop. Ensure that the cooler will fit without hitting the RAM DIMM slots2.
    • If possible, go with the Noctua NH-U9S for its proven compatibility and performance. If you prefer the Be Quiet! BK033, double-check the fit to avoid any issues with RAM slots.

And no need to replace the backplate, just use four M3x10 screws.
