Just recently bought a new Nitro 15 gaming laptop. I want to like it, seems pretty nice so far. But the keyboard backlight keeps timing out on me, and I can't figure out how to turn it on all the time. I read a post that said the Nitro Sense app could do it, but I don't have that option. Please help, this is a critical function I absolutely need. Thank you.

    Hi @mcheath30

Please indicate the exact model of your computer.
I can check if your computer has Nitro Sense downloaded.
Are you sure it is not already installed?
Look for it as Nitro Sense in the applications, not in the installed programs.

    Regards.

It is model ANV15-51. It has Nitro Sense installed, but there are no options for keyboard backlighting. I have looked all through the app. I don't know what the difference between an app and a program is. I have attached a screenshot of the settings page, where i've read the option to disable the timeout should be.

  • Sorry, I misunderstood, I thought you didn't have Nitro Sense, but you do and what you can't find is a keyboard configuration option.
As far as I know, it's not possible, the light is set to turn off after 30 seconds, in the other version of the Nitro Sense application you have an option to deactivate it, but I don't know if your version has it or if it's possible:

Hi there, the keyboard backlight setting should be under "Personal Setting" since we have the same model laptop.

But I noticed you don't have the option "Personal Setting". Did you have the latest version of NitroSense installed?
