I have been using my Acer Nitro, and yesterday I have been watching Youtube, suddenly my screen started flickering & linning, I tried to uninstall & reinstall my both GPU cards Intel & Nvidia but in vain.

Attached is a photo regarding the issue.

Well, my best guess is that the LCD video cable should be re-seated a few times into its mainboard connector to help clean its contacts. Its also possible that the cable itself has developed a intermittent break in one or more of its conductors near the hinge area usually due to wear and tear of opening/closing the lid too much. In either situation, some disassembly would be required to access the cable. New replacement video cables are fairly inexpensive.

Shut down machine. Turn it back on and immediately tap F2 to enter BIOS menu. Does screen still flicker and stutter in BIOS menu?

I tried to do as you asked, and the flickering still persisted in BIOS menu.

Does the nvidia GPU do the same in games or whenever it's being used?

Yes if I used the normal restart mode the flickering exists always either during games, surfing or watching videos.

Even I tried restarting with the windows safe mode (It doesn't rely on both GPU I think), the flickering kept on.

Thanks a lot! I will look into the reparation service, it may be also due to the LCD that I have to replace…I do have 144HZ thus it may be 40pin type LCD but I'm not sure.

Only one 30-pin cable listed for this model part no. 50.Q28N2.008. Less than $15. Common to many Nitro5s and a few Predators.
