My Veriton M6610G use BIOS vertion P01-A4. I up-grade processor from i3 to i5(Ivy) where same LGA1155, but PC can't detect. Pls show edit microcode using AMIBCP or UEFITool.

    Which i3 did it have and which i5 did you put in? Just because the sockets are the same doesn't mean it will work, the chipsets typically only support one generation of CPUs.

    Yes, that will not work. The MB is designed around the 2nd gen CPUs and chipset and the 3rd gen do not work. Try an 2nd gen i7 instead, being sure to match the TDP so you don't have to try and revamp the cooling.
