I have a Veriton X4650G with latest BIOS, and m.2 slot enabled in BIOS.

But it does not recognize any nvme, sata or intel optane drives i have put in the slot.

Does anyone know a solution?

    Is it formatted and BOOTABLE.

Be sure that Boot Enabled is ENABLE, then reboot with a F12 to see your bootable drive order.

If you installed new then disconnect the old one temporary.

When you say "can't see" what do you mean? In the BIOS; Advanced; Integrated Peripherals, what mode is the onboard SATA set to? If it's expecting an Optane card in the M.2 slot it might not recognize a SSD instead.

And what does that setting in your BIOS say?
