Cumulative windows update crashes Acer Aspire Tower PC Aspire TC-1750

Hello, the company I work for has a handful of Aspire TC-1750 Tower PCs. Every time a windows update is installed on the machine it seems to crash and lead to a black screen. A temporary fix I have been able to do is shift/restart and go to boot options and revert the previous quality update. This is fine for now but not a long term solution. Any Ideas on how I can fix this issue?

Thanks,

Logan H

Do a "System > Troubleshoot > Other Troubleshooters > windows update within Win-11 OS and see if this fixes the update issues that these desktops have, as this should not be happening. Also and if you haven't updated to the last Win-11 version 24H2 and all its updates to OS version 26100.2605, then do that as this update will fix all Win-11 issues as its a new install of Wi-11 OS, so follow the installation guide or the standalone ,ISO installation guide which is the same as an windows update of this new version

Also and if these desktops already have the version 24H2 installed the there are issues with certain computers, look at this article if of what last 24H2 version Win-11 update problems with this update do, as this could be also an issue with the Aspire TC-1750 desktops that you have, Good luck and hope this helps you out.

Thank you for response! So I tried these steps and it worked for maybe a week then I ran into the same problem. It Does allow me to boot from safe mode and remove temp windows update files and that also reverts the problem. Still troubleshooting a permanent solution.

    Thanks,

    Logan

Can you pin it down to a specific update? Windows update has been pushing BIOS changes now for a bunch of the newer machines, and that can cause issues for some.

I think maybe it could be the KB5039302 maybe it seems to crash every time these .net or cumulative update happen.

    I will investigate more

KB5039302 has had lots of problems (per googling) and supposedly MS was to release an update ?

KB5039302 was a preview update from June, just skip it and install the final versions, not the previews.
