I purchased the Acer predator Helios neo 16 4070 2024 model about 2 months ago. Recently faced power cut issue where my laptop wouldn't turn on. Went to the acer repair store and they informed me that there is an issue with my motherboard. It has been 2 weeks now since they haven't gotten the motherboard in stock. I leave back on the ship mid Jan and want to get my laptop prior to that. If anyone has gone through the same and can help me get this issue sorted would highly appreciate.

This is really disappointing after spending nearly 2 lakhs of my hard-earned money.

Please contact me on xxxxxxxxxx

I have contacted them and yet I recieve the same reply. Your issue has been escalated. Wait for more 2-3 days. The same reply over and over.

  • Ok, I'll let the Acer moderators of this community know if they can see the situation, they will probably contact you via private message, but I can't guarantee it.

    Regards.

There is always a delay on new models between when they ship product and when repair parts show up in the service centers. I wouldn't be surprised if the systems ship by air and the parts by boat, just due to the cost differences. If they are having an issue with the motherboard design or build then that would be exacerbated since they would have to come up with a fix, apply that to stock on hand, then ship to the service centers. More likely the issue is with just a few systems so it shouldn't be quite that delayed.
