I have a

Laptop Acer Gaming Aspire 5 A515 58GM 51LB

Its fan makes a small noise whenever I turn on the laptop or whenever the fan starts to run again. I feel like the fan blades touch the wire or something. Is it a normal thing to have or should I bring it back to the store? The laptop is quite new and I don't use it much.

If the laptop is new and under Acer warranty, I would suggest that you get the laptop looked at the shop that you bought the laptop at and if there is any major fan problem, then they will get Acer tech support to fix it or do it themselves if they are an authorized Acer service centre. The fault that you are having with the heatsink fan could be from the fan shaft bearing that is faulty and making the fan spin unevenly and the fan is touching its outer case and making that noise, and it might need replacing, its not from the fan blades touching a wire, as there are no wires near this fan, so get it checked out and don’t let the warranty expire . Good luck
