What brand do you recommend to upgrade RAM to 64 and install another 4TB hard drive? I have a 4 TB hard drive from this brand which I've bought it 2 years ago in Dubai. Do you think, I can install it?

    Hi, tell us your Predator laptop model and we can advise, the RAM module you show is standard JEDEC and will work but not 64GB. I don't know about the HDD, need more details.

    This laptop comes with 2 RAM slots that support 16GB DDR5-5600MT/s per slot to a total of 32GB RAM. Best to get this kit 2x16GB from Crucial (see link): Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR5-5600 SODIMM | CT2K16G56C46S5 | Crucial.com

    Crucial states that 64GB maximum RAM is supported but Acer states 32GB RAM maximum (see table above)
    There are two PCIe M.2 2280 4x4 slots for NVMe Gen 4 SSDs, the Gen3 SSD you show is slow, I recommend Gen4 Samsung 990 Evo Plus up to 2TB for each slot.

    The Predator Helios Neo PHN18-71 laptop has its SSD1 boot port slot at Gen 5 x4 type M.2 SSD and its SSD2 slave drive slot is a Gen 4 x4 type M.2 drive, for the best and speediest drives have a look at this benchmark here as they have some Gen 5 x4 M.2 drives that they tested and this is a great buying guide that you can look at for the best and speediest drives.

    With the ram, this PHN18-71 laptop Acer service guide specs suggest a max total of 32GB but Crucial suggests a max total of 64GB which both works, with DDR5-5600MT/s - 5V / 1.1 V 262 pin SODIMM type ram. Good luck and hope this helps you out some more.

    This is the listed DDR5 ram that Acer tested this laptop with and it lists in its service guide

    @Bijan

    This model can have 64GB of RAM maximum. For the SSD, the ADATA XPG S40G might not fit due to the heatsink height.

    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!

    Acer specifies allot of the time their laptops ram max capacities that are lower than what the actual laptops can work with, I think this is because and especially with DDR5 ram, when this laptop was released, the 32GB DDR5 ram modulars were not available from the manufacturers, so Acer only tested this laptop with the highest capacity ram that they could get and that is what they recommend which is max total at 2x 16GB DDR5-5600MT/s.

    If you want a max total of 64GB, this is the Crucial 64GB Kit (32GBx2) DDR5-5600 SODIMM - DDR5-5600 • CL=46 • Non-ECC • SODIMM • 262-pins • 1.1V • 2Rx8 based • PC5-44800 type ram that works with the PHN18-71 laptop and Crucial guarantee this ram to work, so if you want 64GB @ 2x 32GB DDR5-5600MT/s type ram then install this ram it costs USD $182.99. Good luck and hope this helps you out further.
