Try 50.VGND3.001 and sometimes Acer puts the cable in a bag with some DVD mounting parts, in the shipping box.

Thank you very much, I finally understood that the power 6 pins connector on the motherboard is ACER specific I contacted Acer they have the cable and charge 27 euro that is 28,5 USD excluding shipping charges FYI a good quality SSD drive 1TB cost 52 euro. regular standard power cables come at euro 3,50

fyi I used the PWR cable that came with the box to connect a 1TB HD is very fast in spite of this "old" technology, the infrastructure speed of the MB seems to have a greater impact that the read write speed of the HD itself.

very disappointed that Acer chooses to mount non standard connections on its motherboard to force customers to buy their cables at prohibitive prices . being Dutch (cheap)🤑 I almost feel like splitting the power cable and adding an extra 15 pins…….

The last time I looked that cable was available through third parties for a lot less than as a spare part from an Acer parts vendor. That format is the standard for ATX12VO designed systems, and Intel requires the ATX12VO design for some of their branding…

It is even worse on the Acer customer care site the cost including shipping is 36 euro

Thanks for your help , there is some hope! sorry I have some technical now how but are you saying that the power connector is not Acer specific but Intel specific ? if you could be so kind to send me a link of a spare part provider, fyi I live in the Netherlands but that should not be of relevance.

Here is one from Ebay, not anyone I have ever purchased from, just the first one that came up in the search:

These are all the SATA cables for the Samsung HDD that you will need that is listed for the TC-1780 desktop, either buy the Acer oem below or similar from eBay or Amazon or at your local electronics shop. Good luck.
