Hello, I hope someone can help. I've had 3 Acer laptops, my new one is an Aspire Go 15, it won't recognise my smart TV even though they're both on the same wifi network, so I can't cast whilst streaming. One day after taking it out of the box I started a Zoom call, the people who I was talking to said that my audio was breaking up and abandoned the call. I also noticed that my picture was rather jerky. My previous laptop an Acer Aspire 3 worked perfectly on Zoom and when I got my smart TV it recognised it straight away. I'm old and Zoom is my way of keeping in touch, being old I spend a lot of time at home and streaming is my main form of entertainment, I can use an HDMI cable but I want to be able to cast, laptops on the same wifi network as a smart TV are supposed to be able to do that, especially I would have thought brand new ones. I can't revert to my old Acer Aspire 3 as it's had a lot of use and now makes the most alarming noises, hence my new purchase. At the moment I feel that my recent purchase has been a total waste of money as it won't do the 2 things for which it was primarily bought. If anyone can help with either problem I would be most grateful, please bear in mind that I am not a 'techie'. Thank you.

P.S. I wasn't sure where to post this.

Have you tried running the network troubleshooter yet?

    Hello JackE,

I've just gone to settings-network and internet, where I've read that there should be a 'status' option which leads to the troubleshooter, there isn't a status option. Any ideas?. Thank you.

Search 'find and fix network problems'. Should be in Control Panel.
