I've had this running problem for about a year now with my Nitro AN515-57. Ever since i had to switch off 144hz and 70hz because its gotten so bad its literally a black screen on those settings, I've used 60hz since but now its starting to happen with 60hz and i have absolutely no clue how to fix it, can somebody please tell me what's going on?

First check the eDP cable and plug at the screen and mobo if its not frayed or the plugs pins are not damaged or shorted, as this is the main culprit of these screen image issues like you are experiencing, unfortunately to see the pins, you will need a good magnifier that can be bought online otherwise send your laptop to a technician that has a microscope and can fix these eDP cable issues and analyze the screen also. As it could also be the actual screen that needs replacing. To find out the oem screen model in your AN515-57 laptop install HWiNFO64 software and under this software Monitor section your screen model should be there.

These are the parts that you will need if the EDp cable is faulty or the screen, good luck.
