Received my xv275k p3 today and this is the first thing I see. Are these dead pixels?

With HDR enabled, I could notice the change in brightness.

The delivery box is intact. No dents what do ever on the box. What could be the cause of this?

I have reached out to the support but have not heard anything yet.

First thing to check is the video cable. Are you using HDMI, and do you have a second cable you can test with. Next is to disconnect from the computer and look at just the splash screen and on screen display menu. Does it show up there as well?

Yes, it shows up on the splash screen too. I tried USB C and DP cables. Those lines are persistent.

Then it is almost certainly a hardware issue with the monitor. Your quickest next step is to swap it with the vendor, and let them deal with Acer support. Typically vendors have a 30-90 day return policy and are pretty good about dealing with things like this.
