There are a bunch of different SKUs for the TC-1785 models, with different specs based on how they are populated at the factory. Here is the layout of the DTX motherboard:

As you can see there are two memory slots (#2 & #3). They use DDR5 5600 memory running at 4800 and support up to 16GB per slot, so 32GB maximum. I believe they just get a better price or availability on the 5600 memory, so they use that even though the chipset runs it at 4800 or 4400. There are two M.2 slots (#9 & #11), #9 for a SSD supporting NVMe 4.0 x4 drives and #11 for a WLAN card. There is a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot for a GPU and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot for peripherals, unless the GPU covers it. The power supply is an ATX12VO only design, which is used to meet Intel's spec for new desktops. It has a 300W supply though, so the GPU is limited to something like the Nvidia xx30 or xx50 models, Acer ships some SKUs with a GT 730, but a GT 1030 should work fine as well. Larger supplies aren't as easy to find as the older ATX supplies are, but Acer has 500W supplies for other models that likely will fit this case. Since you haven't purchased yet, if you need to have a higher spec GPU than the 30s or 50s you should be getting a higher end base system, or one that already has the GPU installed. I'd probably think of using a 3050 in it myself if I were going the gaming route. That will work fine in a 300W system.

@billsey Thanks for the information I do understand some of this but some of it I don't. So are u saying that this unit comes with a GT 730. And if I want to upgrade this besides a GT 1030. I would have to change the power supply. All they need is something that can play Elders Scroll type games off of the steam store so nothing that has high graphics

There are a bunch of different TC-1785 models. Most do not have the GPU Card installed and only use the UHD graphics built into the processor. You can add a GPU card to the machine, as long as there is enough power to drive that card. I don't play those specific games, but it looks like the 10x0, 16x0, 20x0 or 30x0 cards would all be powerful enough to run it well. The key in your case is for them to require little enough power to run on 300W. I would lean toward a GT 1050 or 1650 as a good combination of power and price…
