Acer Aspire 1315 - cursor hangup. sometimed need to move my fingers to work it back again

Purchased this Aspire late summer 2024. recently, last two weeks (maybe after update) cursor will stick in a spot (sometimes the cursor cannot be seen) and I will have to move my finger around the touchpad numerous times to get it to move again. Any thoughts?

    What is the model number? As an Aspire 1315 is not an Aspire model? Have a look at the underneath of the laptop and on that sticker you should have a number like this A315-xx-xxxx as that is probably what your Aspire laptop model is😀

    With the cursor, its like that on allot of laptops, I experience that on my Nitro laptop also monetarily, but then the cursor appears again, this mainly happens in Office Word. Try and refresh the Mice and other pointing devices in Device Manager at the HID driver and see if that fixes this problem. Good luck.
