P03-600 replacing CPU fan that stopped running, trying to replace it with Thermal take/Cooler Master

My fan started kicking up for a few seconds every couple of days and I finally went into Predator Sense... CPU very high. Opened it up this morning and CPU fan isn't running.

So, obviously looking to replace. Measurements seem to be 95mm. There are a few options on Amazon which seem to be in the same general price range. Was going to post links but apparently my tablet kicks me out of my post when I leave. I think there was a Thermal take and Cooler Master for starters. The first is a tower-my case is around 160mm deep but not sure if I need that. The cooler master pretty much looks like the one I have. And so on....

(Of course, Amazon gives you all kinds of sizes even when you specifically ask for one!)

The tower one is Intel LGA 1200 and I believe my pc is something like 775? I need to make sure I get my info off my pc so I've got it when it's out of commission.

Not answered after all. My CPU measures 75mm between screws and I found a table that translated it to 95mm. The first fan I bought uses push pins and I really don't want to gut my PC to remove the metal pins or backplate, or whatever is behind there to try and make it work.

I bought a Cooler Master 95mm and it doesn't fit, measuring 72mm. I've no idea what to do now. Did the table I found get it wrong? Is it a 95mm? Acer has such basic and unhelpful "manuals" that I can't go to them for answers.

I can't begin to explain how "peeved" I am with Acer for their unwillingness to provide consumers with the information necessary to fix their pc. I'm retired and can't afford to buy new so rely on being able to do these small fixes. Appreciate any insight into what my next step should be.

The fan Acer shipped is a standard Intel design:

Built by Cooler Master for Acer. The CPU socket on your system is a LGA1151, so older than the new LGA 1200 but newer than the 775 designs. In any case, the best cooling upgrade for the cost that we know works well is the Noctua NH-U9S.

That CPU cooler is huge and expensive. I'm not upgrading, just needing a replacement. Where do I get a list of part numbers because all I seem to find is the manual that only addresses a few things and, so far, nothing I've needed. (sigh)

BTW, Thx for the help. I'm becoming more than a little frustrated at the lack of info. I would have sworn I'd been told it was lga 775 but again, no reference. Based on what you said, this is what I'm coming up with. How do they look? (P03-600UR18)
