Upgrading RAM on Acer Nitro 5 AN517-41, AMD Ryzen 5800H DOCP support and Max memory?
Hi there ! I'd to upgrade RAM memory for my Acer Nitro 5 AN517-41 AMD-based laptop
I have 2 questions:
- I wonder if the motherboard AMD Ryzen 5800H support DOCP? If not, what max CL can my RAM card have? I wanted to put CL14 but don't think it supports 1.35V
- What's the max RAM memory can I put into the laptop, 32 or 64?
Thanks a lot guys!

Hi,
- You can use a memory module with CL=22, you need a DDR4 3200MHz modules with JEDEC profile, like these examples:

2. You can upgrade up to 32GB (2x16GB)

Crucial ram recommends for the AN517-41 the following 32Gb kit
Crucial 32GB Kit (16GBx2) DDR4-3200 SODIMM
- CT2K16G4SFRA32A
- Configuration ID: CT20658173
DDR4-3200 • CL=22 • NON-ECC • SODIMM • 260-pin • 1.2V • 2Rx8/1Rx8 • PC4-25600
This is the ram Acer tested and lists as oem ram for your AN517-41 laptop in its service guide:

So CL22 is the only compatible CAS Latency ? Event CL20 won't work?

What about this one?
I believe it's pretty the same, I haven't found any info that, AMD Ryzen 5 doesn't support CL20
https://allegro.pl/oferta/kingston-fury-impact-32gb-2x16gb-3200mhz-ddr4-cl20-sodimm-16902686798MHz, Voltage, RAM memory, and DDR4 seems to be ok
