The Swift SFG14-71 has provisions for 2x PCIe 4x4 type M.2 SSD drive slots, the quickest of these types of drives are either the Samsung 990 Pro NVMe or the Solidigm P44 Pro drive, so consider changing your existing boot M.2 SSD drive to one of these quick drives. Good luck

The speed of  3500MB read and 2150MB write is for a PCIe3 x4 M.2 SSD drive which is what Acer fitted to your Swift SFG14-71 laptop as they didn't fit a PCIe4x4 M.2 which they do quite allot including to my Swift SFX14-51G laptop, so this is common. I don't know why, its either that they are trying to save costs or they have excessive stock of the PCIe 3x4 M.2 SSD drives.

What I suggest is that you take the oem PCIe3x4 M.2 boot drive out and upgrade to the faster PCIe4x4 drive that I suggested above as your laptop will work allot quicker. That is what I did to my Swift laptop and the Read was 6800/Write was 6600 speeds with a WD Black SN850X M.2 SSD and they increased considerably. Good luck.

Acer shipped any of several different SSDs in the SFG14-71 models:

Yours is one of the 512GB versions, so either the Kingston or Western Digital. Kingston specs are Gen 4 PCIe NVMe, up to 3,700MB/s read, 2,600MB/s write, WD are 5,000 and 4,000. It sounds like you have the Kingston installed on your machine. There are faster drives on the market in the M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 designs as suggested above. Get a new faster drive and clone the existing drive to it, then configure to boot from the fast drive and use the original drive as a data drive by wiping it fully then creating one partition.
