I recently bought an Acer Aspire 5, but I'm experiencing a charging issue. When the laptop is turned on, plugging in the charger causes it to charge for 10 seconds, then disconnects and reconnects in a loop. However, when the laptop is turned off or fully charged (100%), it charges without any issues.
Steps I’ve Tried:
- Uninstalled the battery devices from Device Manager.
- Updated drivers.
- Shut down the laptop, then held the power button for 1 minute.
- Checked the charging port for any loose connections (there are no issues since it charges fine when the laptop is off).
Laptop Specifications:
Acer Aspire 5, 13th Gen Intel Core i5 1335U, RTX 2050, 4GB-8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, 14" display, Windows 11.
