I've taken about every step I can think of short of trying the SSD in another device or trying another nvme drive. I've included pictures of my bios screen below and you can see the SSD (MKNSSDPE1TB-D8) as number one in the boot order and as HDD0 on the information screen. That said, I can't find it in device manager, disk management, or by running the diskpart utility in command prompt. The only thing showing up as an option is the HDD that came with the computer originally.

Am I missing something? It seems that the SSD is compatible since it's showing up in the bios but I can't seem to find it anywhere through windows to format or initialize.

My computer is an Acer Nitro 5 an515-53 operating on windows 11 64 bit

the SSD is a Mushkin Pilot-E 1TB M.2 NVME drive
