Hello! so I did a clean install of windows and I was playing a Game called ROBLOX and I notices that plugging in my charger did not give me any performance boost

Because before doing a clean install of my windows it gave me a big performance boost when I plugged in my charger but now its not for some reason and I do understand its not a gaming laptop and I have updated my bios and update drivers and windows and still nothing

Is there a fix to this thanks

Hi, check if your BIOS version is 1.55 (from last month) and Windows 23H2 is updated to KB5046633 (OS Build 22631.4460). Maybe the system is updating or uploading to Cloud, check Task Manager Performance-Memory and WiFi if you see excessive usage and traffic.

So you are saying the game does not play well even though you have plugged the charger in?

Am new to the acer discussion haha thanks
But yea before reinstalling windows 11 because some programs where not working
My old windows 11 I used to be able to plug in my laptop and get a performance boost and what I mean by that is a FPS boost and now after reinstalling windows 11 I am not sure why am not getting a big performance boost like i originally did?

Can you post a screenshot of the device manager?
