Hi, when HDR is enabled on the Acer Nitro XZ342CU, the brightness control is the primary adjustment available. This is typical for many HDR monitors, as other settings like contrast and color adjustments are often locked to ensure the best HDR performance. Check HDR Settings: Ensure that HDR is enabled both on your monitor and in your operating system's display settings. Try this:

Update Graphics Drivers: Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date. You can do this through the Device Manager or by visiting the Acer Support site.

Adjust Resolution and Refresh Rate: Ensure that your PC is set to the monitor's native resolution and the correct refresh rate. Sometimes, incorrect settings can cause blurriness.

Calibrate Your monitor in Windows: Use the calibration tool to adjust the brightness, contrast, and color settings. This can help improve the overall picture quality.

Check Cable Connections: Ensure that you are using a high-quality HDMI or DisplayPort cable that supports HDR. A faulty or incompatible cable can cause display issues.

Hi, thank you for your repply. this was tested with a DP and HDMI cables. 2 different laptops. one of them with nvidia RTX card. Windows calibration was done several times…. still… when HDR is ON, the image is very blur. I tested a LG 21:9 (HDR 400) monitor with the same setup and as soon i ON the HDR on the laptop the bright in the monitor immediately increases. On this one, decreases. Maybe need to return it…
